| 13981 | 2001-06-11 09:16:00 | When I try to put a disk into my DVD rom drive I get the dreaded blue screen saying that EXCEPTION OE @ 0028:C182EEB3 IN VXD SCSI1LP(03)+00000583: CALLED FROM 0028:C182EE38 IN VXD SCSI1HLP(03)+00000508. Have tried removing drive in device manager and restarting but no different. Have tried holding shift while inserting a CD, to stop auto-run, then when I click on my comp the comp either crashes, freezes-up or blue screens and will not respond, have to reset comp with reset button. This just happened when I tried to use the may PC World CD. not sure if the drive is at fault or it is a software prob. Thanks for any help Ricky |
