| 13990 | 2001-06-11 11:24:00 | I have Zonealarm installed and it does a good job of giving me the option of blocking certain programs from accessing the web. However rpcss.exe & win32sl are listed in the zonealarm programs list but don't ask my permission at all, & if I delete them from the list they reappear. Can someone tell me please what each of these do and should I be worried about a possible security hole. |

| 13991 | 2001-06-11 12:48:00 | zonealarm does not need your permission to add something to its list of apps that have treid to access the web. it only requires your permission to allow it to be let through the firewall. please do not delete apps from zonalarms list as it can be a little touchy when reconising a new applacation.(not to mention making more work for yourself) i suggest you read the help files they're quite helpful. |
