| 14226 | 2001-06-16 09:59:00 | Hi I have a Pentium 75Mhz computer with 8Mb ram and 800MB hard disk however, when I turn the computer on it comes up with the following message: Hard disk(s) fail (80) What is that and how do I fix it, because the computer cannot detect the hard drive, but worst of all I have forgotten my password into SETUP so is there a possible solution? All help is appreiceated. Thanks |

As for the BIOS setup problem, first make a note of some of the settings (hard disk type, etc) then try removing the CMOS battery momentarily. That will reset everything in the CMOS memory including any password protection. | Guest (0) | ||
