In the Office help there are some words that have a definition attached to them. When you click on them a window pops up with the definition. This used to work and now it doesn't. When using IE 5.5 the same thing happens when clicking on links that bring up a javascript window. Hyperlinks work properly in both applications but not the javascript commands. |

I had a similar problem with my setup (Win98SE, Celeron 500, 128Mb ram). It also affected MS Home Publisher which seems to use similar techniques to produce the menus in the program. I tried everything to fix this but to no avail. In the end I reinstalled Windows and that fixed it. I'd be interested to know if there's any other way to fix this problem short of reinstalling Windows. |

I forgot to add: Just reinstalling Windows by overwriting the current version won't work (I tried that first). You have to wipe the old version and reinstall from scratch.
