hi how do i remove this annoying problem
i installed a pcmcia modem and network combo card which i have now removed and want to get rid of this password prompt thanks |

Look in the Windows folder for .PWL files. You may find one or more. Delete them. Then reboot your computer. If it asks you for a password just click on the OK button or press enter (don't type any password at all) and after that it shouldn't ask for a password again. |

go to network in control panel and change the entry in Primary Network Logon to Windows Logon.. reboot and it should be fixed |
