| 14191 | 2001-06-15 22:31:00 | Every now and again I'm getting messages saying IE/ICQ have performed illegal operations and they'll shut down. If I try loading them again, I get the same message. Rebooting seems to fix the prob for a few days/hours, but it's still a pain. Anyone know what could be causing this/how to permanently fix it? TIA, Ken. |

| 14192 | 2001-06-16 04:08:00 | My friend had the same problem with his Win98sE and IE5.0 and ICQ2000b... He stopped the error messages by upgrading IE5.0 to IE5.5 and reinstalling ICQ2000B after. (without uninstalling ICQ) I'm not sure if this is too safe coz IE5.5 comes with itz own truckloads of problems on older machines.. Anyway.. hope this helps.. |
