14314	2001-06-18 14:13:00	Every day after about 90 minutes of using my Compaq Armada 1130 laptop with Win.95 the floppy drive(which is empty) uninvitedly starts up and looks for a disk for about 10 seconds and then stops. It doesn't sound healthy. What causes this? Is it a Windows timing setting? Can I stop it? Thanks for any tips.	Guest (0)
14315	2001-06-18 21:18:00	When you install Microsoft Office (I think this only applys to 97 and above but don't quote me on it) it installs the findfast utility which periodically scans your computer for office documents, including your floppy drive. If you have office installed use the FindFast control panel to disable scanning. So if you have office installed, that may be what the problem is.	Guest (0)
