| 14309 | 2001-06-18 12:24:00 | I am running windowsME on pIII and windows media 7.00 and When I try watching some movies on it it Plays them faster than it should, (about twice the speed). I have tryed the movies on other computers running the same sort of config. and the play fine, I have tryed updating but doesn't help. If anyone Has a soloution I would be grateful. Andrew |

| 14310 | 2001-06-23 16:44:00 | Its sounds like the files may be 'cooked'. Are these movies that you downloaded ?? Did you use Netscape to download these files as There is a known problem with netscape downloading media type files in the way the information in retrived. 'Cooking' can also occur when the server that you are retrieving data from is not properly configured to be aware that a particular binary file type is indeed binary. Most servers default to a text mode when type is unknown. Try uncook95 on one of these files. Get Uncook95 from 'fma.addr.com |
