| 14307 | 2001-06-18 12:09:00 | When adding either multiple or single horizontal lines in forms and tables using the shift/dash keys which I have always done, suddenly a bold line the full width of the page appears under the last line. The line is virtually impossible to remove. When the enter key is hit several of these lines may appear. In one instance single lines drawn as above end up as double lines. This only seems to have occurred after installing a later copy of Office 97 Professional. I never had the problem before that time. Obviously one answer would be to insert lines using the draw facility but these are not as easily dealt with. Any suggestions would be appreciated. TA |

Turning it off should stop them occurring. As for getting rid of the darn things: in a table, the only way (other than Undo) I've got rid of them is to delete the row, after inserting a new one and copying in the bits I wanted.I've not played with them in forms. I hope you get a more satisfactory answer from someone - I, too, get the multiple ones appearing at times. It looks like a bug, actually. |
