| 14303 | 2001-06-18 11:51:00 | Hi,my wife tried to load Norton Anti-virus V4(2000 ?) on a PC,btu it wouldnt load.It said it needed this dll and couldn't find it,so it stopped loading. Now whenever she starts up the PC it tells her 'a required dll file,mfc42.dll,was not found.'but after cancelling the error box the PC loads up fine. What is this dll for and do you really need it? | Guest (0) | ||

| 14305 | 2001-06-19 00:57:00 | mfc42.dll is part of the visual basic runtime files. This file can be downloaded from www.arachnoid.com or installed with the other runtime files located on the April edition of PCWorld Plus. | Guest (0) | ||
