I'm having some difficulty loading my computer. It started when i was trying to play one of the demo games and suddenly my system just crash. Since then on i can't even start my computer. TAhe most it ever went is after detecting the IDE drives (harddisk) and it freezes. Sometimes it even freezes before the RAM count. I'm not sure what is wrong with my computer or is there any help for it. I'm just worried that it's my motherboard problem or probably my power supply. I'm using a MSI K7T 2-A motherboard with 850 Athlon chipset. Bought it in less than 4 months old. |

Not to sure what the problem could be but heres a few things you could try, firstly try reseting the bios configuration, there may be a switch on your mobo which can do this or you can do it in bios itself. Or if you can boot off a bootdisk run scanreg to restore a previous version of your registry settings, if these don't work it might be a hardware problem in which case you may need to get it looked at. |

Thanx for your answer, Mark. Well, i've tried reseting the mobo before this but still it can't boot. The thing is, it can't even get to the boot sequence or the bios watsoever. I think its probably the motherboard problem or probably the power supply. Anyway what is the minimum power supply requirement for that kind of hardware ? |
