| 14376 | 2001-06-20 11:50:00 | I purchased a WD 20gig drive to use as a master while using my previous Seagate 20gig as a slave. They are both seen in BIOS in the correct order, however windows only sees the master(WD). I am using EZ BIOS as I thought this may work as a last resort but to no avail. Jumpers are all correct. My device manager sees 2 Hard drives, but I can't access the slave in explorer and there does not apper to be a drive letter associated with it. Formatted and set new drive up with WD setup utility. HARDWARE-Asus P2BF mainboard -Seagate 20G(Slave) -WD 20G(Master) -Creative SBLive -Matrox G400 -330Meg Ram -P2 400 Processor SOFTWARE-WIN 98 SE Any help would be much appreciated as I have run out of ideas!!!!! Thanks. |
