14457 2001-06-22 00:27:00 I have scanned some documents on my Acer 4300 scanner and nominated 'Microsoft Office' files as the format during the scan procedure, but when I saved them I see they have saved in .tif format. How can I open these in Word??
Sorry if this there is a very logical reason!
Thanks

14458 2001-06-22 01:33:00 To view the tif image in word you will need to insert it into your document, just go to 'insert' on the top tool bar then picture/from file, then browse for your tiff images and click insert. Guest (0)
14459 2001-06-22 01:37:00 On the Menu bar select
Insert / Picture / FromFile
then select *.tif from the FilesOfType dropdown, then select the folder where the tif files are held and doubleclick on the file required.

14460 2001-06-22 01:56:00 Another way when working with graphic files is to have the window open where your graphics file are (My Pictures) but Minimised and just drag the file in to your word window.

Should work will all graphic formats.
