| 14555 | 2001-06-24 23:23:00 | I have had this problem with another PCI modem also, but my modem and driver is found. It just won't find it on CD ROM with wizard, maybe the windows driver would be better? Maybe select it from list as standard modem type? Any help appreciated. Scotty |

Most ISA modems do not require much of a driver, unlike pci modems which are usually win modems. The best way to install it is to go into control panel, double clik on modems and let windows detect it and load the driver,if it fails to detect it,go to select from a list, choose standard modem and select which modem it is ,you will need to know what it is either 56k flex or v90 it,s probably 56k flex of course it may only be a 33.6k modem. hope that helps |
