| 14732 | 2001-06-29 00:09:00 | When using direct cable connection the Guest computer shows folders which I have used previously in the past. These folders also show in Network neighbourhood in 'entire network' when using DCC as well. However I can't delete these obsolete folders or find them on my system, and they only appear when using DCC. Any ideas on how to get rid of them. | Guest (0) | ||
| 14733 | 2001-06-29 03:34:00 | Found out where these phantom folders have been hanging out. They were located in the registry at 'HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ Software \ Microsoft \ Windows \ Current version \ Network \ LanMan'. I deleted them, restarted computer, & Guest now only sees current folder in use. Those old folders are alive no more :-) | Guest (0) | ||
