| 1275861 | 2012-05-17 08:00:00 | Peach is on a last ditch effort to live i think . . . . . . . . 2 days with out a puter has driven us insane, as a phone just doesnt cut the mustard . So have got a 1T? external HD to use to save all of the things needed . I have managed to find music and pictures on it . . . . . R2x1 gave me some instructions . . . . but alas i have deleted them off my phone not knowing i had them . . . . Suggestions and questions if i do a send / copy paste moment to the drive, say from the music file i presume it is picking up every thing music wise i have saved via Win media player? and i dont have disks for a full reinstal so a major delete uninstall is on the cards . . . . . . what should i save? and can i play the music directly off the HD? or veiw pics directly off it? so i could dlete and empty vast amounts of file space off peace ? oh and peach throws the i am not listening moment quite often which means a reboot for anything to happen . . . . . . . . no email prog can run if a tab open, no defrag can run if anything else is open . . . 1 thing at a time . . . . . . . . . always . . . simple instrutions best please . only ever saved to disks before . . . . . . . . beetle |

| 1275862 | 2012-05-17 10:12:00 | Hi Beetle. What operating system do you have? You can simple drag the music file to the external Hard drive and drrop it there. You wont be able to do that with installed programs. There are programs that you can get to copy the whole hard drive to the external so that if you system does go belly-up you at least have a copy that could later be restored. |

Any other folders you have saved stuff into, and if you are one of those people that saves stuff onto the desktop, look in that folder too and copy them. This way you know you have the files and not just shortcuts. |
