| 1275428 | 2012-05-15 04:56:00 | I am at a loss to what is putting my laptop into hibernation or sleep mode. Its being used to monitor a weather station and uploads the data to my home server. Trouble is it keeps dropping into sleep or hibernation mode. I have made sure everything is set not to turn off including in the advanced setup dealing with usb etc. Sometimes it will run for a couple of days before going to sleep and other times less than 12 hours. I have even installed stop sleep which is not combating it either. Does anybody know of anything that would monitor things and report what is putting it to sleep as I have tried everything I can think of. | presso (10113) | ||

Change your settings to look for updates but let you pick when to download and install them or something. If its not that, look in the event logs, there may be something in there telling you whats going on. |
