I have. Pretty good, less intrusive than Google.

However...

After trying it I got those spam emails that ar all random letters & numbers. I am not blaming duckduckgo for this, bt it was a coincidence. I deleted it eventually. PJ

1274785 2012-05-12 12:32:00 Duckduckgo works well for me. The main differences from Google is that is doesn't shape your search based on previous searches and it searches for the words you enter rather than Googles "we will guess what you really want" approach. Both come in handy depending on what you are searching for. nerd89 (14761)
1274786 2012-05-14 10:11:00 I quite like it especially the way it just carries on loading search results instead of having to open pages. It has improved a lot in the last couple of years. mikebartnz (21)
1274787 2012-05-14 10:28:00 You have to work it a bit more, but it can give interesting and revelent results, along with lots of dross, its pretty random. Its just about the opposite in lots of ways to Google, a nice complement. PPp (9511)
