Brian May has to be one of my most favourite guitarists. Brilliant. Makes the hairs stand up on the back of your neck.

Is that your neck, or the guitar neck? :)

1253145 2012-01-10 00:26:00 Serious question (as distinct from my last response ;) ) - how do you (or anybody else "looking") rate Keith Scott? tuiruru (12277)
1253146 2012-01-10 00:30:00 I don't know will have to look him up gary67 (56)
1253147 2012-01-10 01:28:00 Thanks for vid. Touch of Marvin? Also follow May a little. Other UK guitarist vinyls I had were Keith Relf (Yardbirds) and glam rock singer Marc Bolan. Both died mid 70's. UK seem to have plenty of rock/pop guitarists around mid 70's. Frampton, Floyd, Ash, Sweet, Slade, etc. Brian May seem to have survived (still play). kahawai chaser (3545)
1253148 2012-01-10 01:36:00 What a beautiful tune thanks trev

EDIT: I went to the queen its a kind of magic at the showplace in new plymouth years ago and it was great. the drummer never stopped the whole show. even at half time he drummed and sang a song which i thought was the best song of the night as he and his drums were the only instrument in the song, sheer brilliance

1253149 2012-01-10 02:36:00 Yes been a Queen fan since the mid 70s. Freddy was good too. Just reading his biography. The reason for his big teeth was that he had to many top teeth and was told he could have it fixed but decided not too as he was told it was a painful operation.

I thought the music was reminiscent of the intro to Local Hero (Mark Knopler), but maybe not. :)

He's the lead guitarist for Bryan Adams..... If you want it in the same vein as the original post, the instrumental bit at the end of various concert versions (and the single, come to that) of "Everything I do...." (www.youtube.com) (not the best version of it) has a lot of understated texture in it. I could go on but.....

("Brian" seems to be cropping up a lot in these threads.... ;) )
