I thought it came from something historical like having your sword arm (most people are right handed) towards any potential enemies coming the other way from medieval times. Whatever the reasons America seems to like ignoring the rest of the world and doing things their own way, never mind if there's already an international standard, they'll invent a new one. They also have world series they don't invite any other countries to compete in. I gues they like their independance, they did fight for it after all. the link didn't work for me either so sorry if I'm off topic. |
