| 1252213 | 2012-01-05 05:38:00 | Yeah, it's really an illusion. If you look at the event in a very restricted manner (as they have arranged), it appears nothing happened. Kinda like a 'magician' telling you if you close your eyes for 5 seconds the cup on the table in front of you will magically disappear. When you close your eyes the 'magician' throws the cup away. Maybe I'm not appreciating the science, but this event is failing to excite me. No real magic, just smoke and mirrors. All they've really done is delay transmission of info through one channel. Hell, my internet connection is delaying information flow all the time. Same thing in principal. That's hardly cause for celebration. |

| 1252218 | 2012-01-06 18:38:00 | "According to Cornell scientists, itd take a machine 18,600 miles long to produce a time mask that lasts a single second" That's why I can't get excited by this. Try sneaking that device into place without being noticed... there's got to be a better way to deceive the eye. And after all that, just coz an event doesn't get seen doesn't mean it didn't happen, or can't be observed/detected by some other means. This is akin to placing a detour sign at the entry to the motorway, and then claiming that the motorway is empty because you've somehow taken all the vehicles. They're still around, just taking a longer route. |
