1274759 2012-05-12 08:03:00 Xp is so easy to bypass its a joke.

Start the PC in safe mode by pressing F8 on startup.
When the option appear Using the arrow keys, move up to Safe mode and Press Enter.
When you get to the log on screen select Administrator.
Once started, click start/Control Panel/ User Accounts – Select your account, then select Change Password or Remove password, if you select change, then change it to the new password, reboot and log on as normal.

Edited: if the Admin is passworded as well, its still easy, just need a different approach

1274760 2012-05-12 08:13:00 Can't you just push escape and log in anyway? or was that pre XP that windows security was so crap. dugimodo (138)

If you want to use RDP or network shares windows requires a password to authenticate. So I guess there ARE times when you might not want security but it is forced upon thee. Like with android, forces a secure lock (PIN etc) if I want to use VPNs since it wants to encrypt the keyvault
