1252720 2012-01-11 02:38:00 But you do get more channels on Freeview!! Snorkbox (15764)
1252721 2012-01-11 03:10:00 Yes but lets' face it U is rubbish compared to the old TV6, Stratos is gone, Cue is fine if your studying with SIC as they have stuff on there, C4two not much better and Shine Christian rubbish, Chinese well if you are I guess it's fine since Maori have 2 channels on there and finally TV3 one hour later. TV3 hardly has anything worth watching so why repeat and hour later? gary67 (56)
1252722 2012-01-11 03:18:00 Unless you have the spare cash to support SKY then Freeview it is. An old SKY dish on the roof will pull in Freeview from the Satellite for any old TV. A newer TV with built-in Freeview will pull in the terrestrial Freeview with some programmes in HD, but the quality difference does not matter. I get both Satellite and Terrestrial because I was receiving Freeview via the old SKY dish left behind by a previous owner and then I bought a modern TV with Freeview built-in. The difference is that I have my old recorder linked to the Satellite dish reception because it also pulls in Australian SBS 1 and SBS 2 which nightly gives great current affairs, real world news and good movies most nights. Some movies are a bit late to sit up to watch - the 2 hour time difference - but the recorder lets us watch them later or put them on to DVD. Scouse (83)
