Besides that, the Americans allowed old man Noah Webster to hoodwink them into thinking there was a better way of English spelling. Now look what it's deteriorated into with 'text speak', what next? Grunts and groans? Who said man has evolved? |

But the cost in lives due to accidents when people drive when on holidays etc. I have always thought that the whole world shouls drive on one side of the road. It is possible to change. I remember Sweden did it in the 1960's or 70's. And yes the Europeans invented cars, but I suppose it really depends on which countries came up with the first road codes. And what about horse drawn carriages ? did they drive on one side of the road ? |
