This is where iTunes comes into its own.

...until you try plugging it in to more than a couple of devices that is ;)

Also, look in to "Instant Upload" with Google+, backs up your images over WiFi (Those two tablets don't have 3G), it's bloody marvellous!!!

1252544 2012-01-14 07:29:00 Yeah it's not idiot proof i'll give it that, but it's better than Kies or any android offering i've seen as of yet. Alex B (15479)
1252545 2012-01-14 07:34:00 iPoos might be idiot proof but some of us aren't idiot enough to use it in the first place gary67 (56)

Lmao.

No app should be making decisions about peoples data that can't be over ridden.

It detected the device, started to sync, notified me it was a new device and then told me it was going to load on my last backup, I selected no, it done it anyway and then locked up solid.

The poor decision was buying the phone and installing that crap. So in that regard I definitely got what I deserved.

Personally I prefer to just manually make my own backups manually, copy/paste for the win, Itunes is worthless bloat.

1252547 2012-01-14 07:39:00 Arh sorry, forgot about the Android sheep following around here, it makes it hard to have an actual conversation about such things. Alex B (15479)

Copy/paste is a logical, efficient, simple, robust and time proven method for moving data, It has nothing to do with Android specifically.

That's why devices that can't use such an effective system should be considered flawed.

1252549 2012-01-14 07:48:00 Copy/paste has no version control. I buy a new song in itunes on my laptop or the phone and it wireless syncs when they are both on the wifi network. Doesn't get more simple than that. Alex B (15479)
