| 1252726 | 2012-01-08 07:36:00 | I have been to this one in 2009 http://www.titanmissilemuseum.org/ It is the last remaining one still set up as it was during the cold war. Those who were on duty there then, said that the main worry was the rattle snakes that sometimes got stuck in the safety hatch just below the surface. It is now a museum (everything was decomissioned in the '80s) Don't know if I'd want one as a house though, lol! LL |
