| 14884 | 2001-07-02 23:11:00 | I used one of the PCWORLD Plus discs and after downloading soething I left the disk in the drive. Later I removed it but found I had no D Drive. Then I discovered it was now K Drive. I wonder how this came to be changed and how I can get it back to recognising the CD-Rom as D Drive. | Guest (0) | ||
| 14885 | 2001-07-03 00:04:00 | press the windows button+pause/break button and this will bring up the systems properties window click on device manager double click on the CD-ROM icon and then the name of your CD-ROM(eg:atapi 50x). click setting and change the drive letter back to 'D'. this should do the trick it worked for me |
