14973 2001-07-04 04:54:00 Hi,

Is there anyway that everytime Outlook 2000 starts that it can prompt for a username or password. It would be nice to have some security on Outlook because there are a lot of highly confidential emails in there.

Thanks
Karl

14974 2001-07-04 10:44:00 I would have thought that your email account password would be an effective block. If your account is set up and you don't have the remember password box ticked then only you can access the emails. Guest (0)
14975 2001-07-05 12:47:00 hi Karl,

You can set your delivery location to be 'Personal Folders' (a .PST file), which can be encrypted and passworded when setting up.
This can be configured through tools, services, double click personal folders. If you don't see a 'services' entry you are in 'Internet Only' mode. To switch to 'corporate or workgroup' go into tools, options, Mail services tab, reconfigure mail support button.
