Unlike most CD ripping programs this one rips 'digitally' direct from the CD-ROM (not through the soundcard) into either Wav or mp3 files. Unlike the similar Audiograbber this program is FREE, and includes the open-source Lame encoder. With this you have the choice to rip up to 320 kbps for better quality mp3 tracks if you want. It also sets up a directory structure which is recognised by Win Media player's library list. The download is 1.01 MB zipped. http://www.cdex.n3.net/ |
