14961 2001-07-04 03:50:00 I've downloaded a D630 daisywheel driver with the windows icon from Microsoft downloads, but when I try to use it to install my old printer I am told that W98 does not know what the printer is. D630's are not listed under W98. Is there any way to use such a driver? Guest (0)
14962 2001-07-05 03:19:00 Back in the days of Windows 3.1 it was usual to select Generic/Text only for Daisywheel printers, so if all else fails try that in Win98, from Start-Settings-Printers-Add Printer.
Cheers.

14963 2001-07-06 01:06:00 Thanks very much Terry. I am already using Generic driver but want to switch to a pukka D630 one in the hope that it will enable me to use different ribbons - viz single strike Guest (0)
