| 14923 | 2001-07-03 09:40:00 | Is ther any way that I can format my disk because courrently i have a no softwares but has some files (I don't have windows or anything). I have tried under C:/ typed 'format' but this does not work. I wish to clean out the hard disk COMPLETELY. What commands can i type to do this? | Guest (0) | ||

Another way if you have a working boot disk is to boot off it then when you get to the a: prompt type 'format c: /s' - it will format the hard drive and make it bootable. |

If it does just restart ur PC with the win cd in and it would boot ok. U may like to test this first cos win95 upgrade cds which i have does not boot whereas win2000 student version upgrade does boot... |
