| 15187 | 2001-07-08 00:48:00 | Help!. When running IE if I click on 'Tools' ,'Internet Options' a message box pops up and says 'This operation has been cancelled due to restrictions in effect on this computer blah blah contact your system administrator etc' My home page has also changed to one of dubious merit. It never used to do this! How can I get it back to normal(easily I hope)and stop it from happening again. Thanks in advance. |

On the start menu click run and type regedit (If you can't do this then you're probably at work :) ) From the tree on the left goto My Computer\CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft|Windows\C urrentVersion\Policies There you'll most likely seey three folders Explorer System Network. Browse those three folders for something like 'No internet options' with a blue and white icon and delete it. |
