| 15327 | 2001-07-10 10:46:00 | most of the time my cd-rom drive won't work. it just goes click click.(2clicks) and sometimes it does work. what could be the possible problem? what can i do? i have a vintech44x max cd-rom drive. (500mhz,64mb) |

| 15328 | 2001-07-10 11:47:00 | I have had a bit of trouble in a similar way a couple of times. The first time it was diagnosed as a dead/dying cd-rom drive, and now my 6 month old 52X Cyberdrive has started intermittent failures, similar to yours. Occasioanlly if has a good streak, but normally it is defunct, clicking like yours. Im assuming a dying cd-rom drive, but would be interested in knowing what else it could be. | Guest (0) | ||
