| 15319 | 2001-07-10 09:27:00 | My new computer is running Win2K operating system. At the first time I tried to connect my computer to Internet via a modem, I used the Connection Wizard provided by the system to make a new connection. However at the step 3 of 3 the machine didn't accept any connection name (which is usually the ISP name) and said that it's an invalid name. I don't know where the error come from althought I've tried many times. Is the error caused by the operating system or by any other reason? I really want to surf Internet using my new computer but... Thank you PC World for your advice. |

Drill into 'Services and Applications' Select 'Services' Start the 'Remote Access Connection Manager' service by right clicking it and selecting Start. Then go into it's properties and set it's startup to 'Automatic' Try your wizard again. |
