| 15280 | 2001-07-10 00:48:00 | Noticed this morning Netscape Communicator Internet shortcut got message 'Server www.xtra.co.nz not recognised' ? side effects of Xtra being a partner of MSN Got E mail by going on line to Xtra then opening Netscape Communicator. During initial opening got Netscape window advising that 'Netscape Navigator was no longer my default browser, did I wish to have it as default, Yes/No' ? is this another unwanted side effect. Frank. |

| 15281 | 2001-07-12 12:53:00 | i had no problem loading in netscape 4.5. My guess is the first message was them changing over, MS servers tend to cause lots of problems ;-). Regarding the default browser, they don't have any control over this. If you have been running another browser like IE then it will steal the default browser setting unless you disable it. |

Several years ago I did have problems with MS until, I uninstalled Internet Explorer! End of problems if, one prefers using Netscape Communicator which, runs so sweetly. Using Version 4.77 now. | Guest (0) | ||
