| 15254 | 2001-07-09 06:37:00 | Can anybody tell me or point me to a site where I can find out about 'Macrovision' ? I have a friend who is looking to buy a DVD player and some of them have Macrovision enabled or disabled. Any help appreciated ? Steve |

Basically macrovision stops the user from copying the DVD to video cassette, by distorting the picture it sends to the video player. I have a player with macrovision enabled, and it has not been a problem. You will face a problem with macrovision if a: you want to copy dvd to video b: you want to play your dvd player through your video c: your TV is an older style tv, (5years or more) |
