| 15252 | 2001-07-09 06:26:00 | I usually use only one ISP with one dial up connection. However, I have found a dial up connection calling itself 'Intrusive' on my system. I have tried a number of ways to delete it, but have so far been unsuccessful. There is nothing listed in its 'Properties' and I have no idea how it got onto my system. Its name concerns me. Can anyone help? Thanks. Using: Win98, Internet Explorer 5+, Outlook Express. |

So first I'd run a thorough virus scan. If that comes up clear, then I'd proceed with caution into the Registry, and search for 'Intrusive' and see what I found. Then I'd blow it away. Then I'd spend the next two weeks getting my computer working again. *grin* That's just me though. Good luck. |
