| 15449 | 2001-07-13 07:30:00 | just prior to shut down i get a series of error windows opening, sometimes two or three, sometimes more. The messages all begin 'runtime error at 216.. and then there is a variety of adresses '00042fa6' '0004347d' are two that I have managed to get before the computer crashes to a halt. I am using WinMe, athlon 1gb, 256 mb ram, Nvidia Tnt2 card. Any ideas, Thanks |

| 15452 | 2001-07-13 10:00:00 | Thanks Terry, I should have noted that I had found the MS tech note you quoted. I checked but sign of the dreaded trojans. Happily my machine is free of viri. It should be with the firewalls and virus programmes I run:-) So I am no further ahead, but many thanks any way. |
