| 15437 | 2001-07-12 22:39:00 | I own a copy of Symantec's Norton SystemWorks. Included as part of this software is the LiveUpdate application which updates virus definitions for Norton Antivirus and retrieves program updates for SystemWorks. My problem is that ever since I received a notification that my LiveUpdate subscription was expiring in a month's time (not yet expired), I have been getting disconnected every time I attempt to update. What happens is that I select the updates I want to download and begin. After about 500Kb of data has been transferred it stops and moves onto the next screen telling me that none of the updates were completed or installed. I would appreciate it if anyone could help me get the updates that I am entitled to. |

| 15438 | 2001-07-13 00:06:00 | several things here.......friday 13th traffic causing bandwidth problems at the servers or poor connection to the server. what do you need to download? sometimes it pays to do single updates rather than update the lot a once. you may need to do the 2001antivirus update before you update the def's. the other thing to try is go to C:\WINDOWS\All Users\Application Data\Symantec\LiveUpdate\Downloads and delete livetri.zip. then retry update. and doing a format reinstall and update on A computer will get u another years supscipition ;-) |
