| 15383 | 2001-07-11 23:18:00 | I like to use 2 blank spaces after a full stop in writing documents Word documents. Also I like using justified text in paragraphs. When a full stop occurs near the end of the line, often using 2 blank spaces puts the first word of the next sentence on the line below. When that occurs, using the two blank spaces, causes there to be a blank at the end of the line that aligns with the text above and below. Therefore the text does not look justified, it has a ragged right side look. Putting only one space after the full stop brings the first word of the next sentence back up from the line below, the text is all neatly justified but there is only one space after the full stop. Is there a way to make the full stop move to the end of the line and the next line start at the left side flush using a double space option? Or do I just have to get to like single spaces after a full stop in some cases? |
