| 15379 | 2001-07-11 11:50:00 | I run WIN98SE and recently re-installed OS. I now find that every time I place an item on the desktop, a 2nd icon is created. I cannot delete just one - both then disappear. Anyone advise what is up please and what to do to fix? TIA Ron |

| 15380 | 2001-07-11 21:06:00 | Do you have user profiles enabled on your machine ? I cannot think of any reason that Windows would be doing this unless you have a replication of your desktop folder enabled. If you add the icon to \windows\desktop folder - does this happen ? |
