| 15420 | 2001-07-12 08:45:00 | I am with Zfree, and before they changed their dial in number my modem used to connect anywhere from 39000 bps up to 49667 bps. Now with their new number I always connect at 50667 bps. I have found that my internet connection performs best at around 45000 bps. Is there anyway to change in Windows the maximum speed that a modem will connect at besides the preset values? It goes from 38400-57600 with no intermediate value. My OS is Win 98. | Guest (0) | ||
