Whilst attempting to launch restore on Win ME, freeze-up occured and only way out was to reboot[ctl-alt-del would not work either]. Re-installing Win ME off the OEM CDROM twice failed to alleviate problem. No other problems appeared apparent and for approx 2 days later the fault was still there. After re-registering the ACD pix viewer in sponsership mode and then as a matter of interest trying out 'restore' again the restore function was by shear 'coincidence' up and running again !! Have any others experienced such freeze-ups with Wim ME Restore which may have come right by coincidence or been corrupted and reliant on some other program running correctly and not expired !??! |
