| 15365 | 2001-07-11 09:46:00 | I have W98 IE5.5 and Lucent 56K internal as well as a USR 56K external modem. When surfing if the system has been at rest for a minute or 2 clicking on a link causes no response in the modem. Sometimes there will be a delay of over a minute before things wake up and the modem lights indicate action. Multiply clicking does nothing. This seems to occur with both modems and also on another similar configured machine and makes surfing a very frustrating experience. Can someone please tell me what is happening here? |
