| 15558 | 2001-07-15 11:02:00 | Has anyone used this programme to clean up their pc. Does it work? Is it true that every site you visit on the net is stored in your computer? Is this information stored under the directory windows/cookies/index.dat? If so is there any way of deleating this information? Will Evidence Eliminator delete this information? | Guest (0) | ||

Yes, every page you goto is stored in your history, copies of the pages are in the browser cache, and most sites store cookies to track you. You just have to delete the history, and cache (there will be buttons in your browser prefs). To delete the cookies you need to empty everything in the cookies folder (IE) or cookies.txt (Netscape). |
