After installing another hard drive on a 486 PC the auto configure function on bootup says it can't find another drive. If I run a disk in the drive it says it can't find the drive. The cd-rom was able to be recognised before changing the hard drive. Have I missed something on the changeover i.e is there a jumper setting or something? |

check the master / slave jumber on the cdrom and harddrive, they are probably both set to master. |

If you are running Windows 95
and using a CD Rom drive that has a sound card plugged into it Win 95 wont recognize it. You will have to install it yourself |
