| 15510 | 2001-07-14 10:55:00 | This is the 2nd time its happened. the new CDROm gives up playing music CD's after a few months use. Ive reloaded Windows/Multimedia, check every option and uncheck every mute in CD Player Options. Other than this nuisance the CDROM behaves normaly, plays WAV Midi's, etc from any CD, but balks at music only CD's. Oh, Im not talking about MP3's. Thanks in anticipation.....John jhw@xtra.co.nz |

| 15511 | 2001-07-14 12:55:00 | I don't know what you mean by not playing, in cd player does the time count up etc as usual, but no sound. Or do you get an error message? A common problem is volume control showing the cd channel as unmuted when it really is, so try muting and unmuting it. |
