The file containing the icon may have been deleted previously. Remove the existing link by opening Favourites (by either opening the c:\windows\favourites folder or from the IE menu), right click on the link and selecting delete. Now go to the site and create a new link in IE by clicking Favourites / Add to Favourites.
To change the icon manually, open Favourites, right click on the bookmark and select properties. Click the change icon button and browse to the icon file. |
