| 15576 | 2001-07-16 01:40:00 | I want to connect 2 computers together for gaming, file & printer sharing. One is a standalone w2k pro. unit the other a win98 client of a large NT lan/wan. I want to disconnect the win98 unit from the LAN and hook up to the w2k computer. I have network cards in each and a cross-over cable, what do I do next?. Can anyone give me advice or direct me to a help page. Thanks | Guest (0) | ||

If you are after TCP/IP then leave me an email address and i can send you some html pages that have excellent help for win98. I am not sure about win2k but i imagine that the set up will be much the same, just in a slightly different place. |
