| 15672 | 2001-07-17 05:01:00 | We have a small 20 PC network, workstations running win98 and win2000 on the server. I have been hunting the net (and this site) for suitable backup software, with no luck so far. What I want to do is backup selected folders on the network to CDRW. That means a program automatically selecting, say, the My Documents folder plus one other on a particular workstation, and My Documents plus another (differently named) folder on another WS. I want to save this backup so I don't have to go through the whole procedure again. Oh and I don't want zip files or backup sets created, just the new files copied over to CDRW. Don't want much! I honestly thought I would find something in minutes, but most packages either create a zip, or won't let me select multiple folders (one at a time, thank you very much) or want to boot to DOS first (great to do on a server!). Any help greatly appreciated. Fred Alvrez |
